objection I'm sure, I will no longer be using this deviantart account to host any MLP related art. Or at least, not of my own indicative. THAT'S RIGHT! I'm cleaning up my act, moving forward, shaving my neckbeard and burning the large greasy stack of fedoras I keep in the back yard. It's time to bring my rambling, nonsensical self into a more professional environment.
But if that's the case, what
AM I going to be doing on this non-corporial internet space? The answer is simple children...
DOSH!
MOOLAH!
PHAT STAX OF SWEET SWEET CHEDDAR!I'm gunna do commission work, for the most part.
But 'hwat can I, a lowly verbose, talented and dashing young man in my prime possibly have to offer the community at large with which to syphon their tommydollars? Why 3D modeling of course! Feh- Yeah, like DUH, don't you see the obvious logical progression from drawing the same pink cartoon hoarse repeatedly to that? Of coarse you do, you're a smart kid.
But to dile-back the wacky factor for a second, I've spent the past several years of my life learning the ropes of computer animation and I'm finally at the point when I can use my powers for good and not mediocrity. So, if all goes well (and you don't immediately unfollow me for implying you where a neckbeard) you should see a steady influx of sweet little high-poly character models and maybe a few animations. I'll also likely throw in a few digital character designs and sketches for variety's sake.
And when it comes to commissions, the coolest part is the fact that any character I do a model of can be sent to a website like
Shapeways and printed into a kick-ass figurine you can have on your desk, instead of burned into your retinas through a computer screen. I haven't seen many people on this site that offers the same commission service, so you best get on this bandwagon before the prices go up. (If you'd like to get in on this right now, shove me a note and we'll make a deal, commissions will be relatively cheap during these early stages.)
Blatant squandering of my artistic credibility aside, I hope we can all get the most out of this new excursion. If I fall of the horse as it where (hey look there's another one, savor it.) I'll just end up leaving this profile behind and getting on with my life, assured of the public's mutual disinterest in my existence, and/or my own laziness. And none of us want that, so there you have it.
Oh, and if your concerned about the old pictures I used to have on this page, I kept the best stuff, it's in my "scraps" folder.
Here's hoping this this new direction is a great one!-Noah
